MARINA D'AEQUA VILLAGE

Le Ancore hotel is situated in the square of Marina d’Aequa, an old fishing village, these days more commonly known as Seiano, part of  Vico Equense, a town on the Sorrento Peninsula. Vico is famous around the world for the quality of its typical products, such as the provolone del monaco cheese, or the metre-long pizza.
What is special about this hotel in Vico Equense is that it is practically on the sea; indeed, there are only three metres separating the hotel entrance from the beach. There are a number of lidos near the hotel, as well as a public beach.

The numerous bars and restaurants in the area, open both in summer and in winter, make it a particularly pleasant place to spend some time.

The centre of Vico Equense is about two kilometres away, and you can get there on foot by walking up a historical footpath.

The centre of Sorrento, on the other hand, is 6 kilometres away. Trains run every twenty minutes from 5 o’clock in the morning to 11 o’clock at night from the local train station, and get to Sorrento in 5 minutes. Our shuttle service is always available to take guests to the station or to the centre of Vico Equense.   
In summer, the Metrò del Mare boat service connects Marina d’Aequa to Sorrento and Naples. The hotel is just a few feet away from where the boat docks.
